We'll sit down for a 90-minute interview where I ask you everything: how you met, who fell first, the moments that made you sure. I'll turn our conversation into a 2,000–3,000 word written feature, delivered digitally within a week. I'll meet with you before the wedding to learn your story, then spend up to eight hours on the day itself with a notebook and voice recorder, interviewing your family, wedding party, and guests. I'll set up a dedicated "wedding newsdesk" during cocktail hour and reception where your loved ones can stop by and share their favorite memories of you. Within a week of your wedding, we'll sit down again so I can hear how it all felt from your side.
The result is a 40+ page custom magazine featuring your story, your people, and the moments that mattered most. You'll receive ten printed copies and a digital edition, with optional hand-delivery in the Denver area.

(02) interviewsWe three sit down together, in person or over video, and I ask you everything.
How you met. Who said "I love you" first. The inside jokes. The story behind the ring. The family dynamics I should understand. The moments you're secretly hoping will happen on your wedding day.
By the end, I'll know your story well enough to recognize it when I see it unfolding.

(03) wedding day coverageI show up with a notebook and a voice recorder. No camera in your face. No lights. Just a writer, paying attention.
I watch the ceremony. I wander the reception. I talk to the people who love you: your parents, your wedding party, the college roommate who knew you way-back-when. I catch the toasts, the tears, the throwaway conversations that turn into real nuggets of gold.

(06) DESIGN AND deliveryI take to InDesign and layout your story alongside your photographer’s work. I work with a print shop to proof and bring your publication to life.
A short while later, you're holding something that will outlast the flowers, the cake, the dress in the closet.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
Yes! I happily travel anywhere for weddings and elopements. Whether it’s a cozy vow exchange in Rocky Mountain National Park or a dreamy destination weekend in Disney World, I’m there. (Travel fees apply for greater than 100 miles of travel from Aurora, Colorado.)
WHAT SHOULD WE PREPARE FOR OUR INTERVIEW?
Come ready to share your story. Think about how you met, your proposal, why you chose your venue, and any family traditions or personal touches you're incorporating into your day. If there are specific people whose perspectives you want included, let me know ahead of time. Beyond that, just bring yourself. The best interviews feel like conversations, not interrogations.

HOW DO YOU WORK WITH MY PHOTOGRAPHER?
I ask that you introduce me to your photographer as early as possible so that we can coordinate licensing, as the final product and delivery timeline depend on us working closely together.
ARE YOU A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
Nope! I leave the photography to the professionals, which means I work with your wedding photographer. They take the photos; I write your story. Together, we capture both the visuals and the context behind your celebration.
