YOUR WEDDING on THE RECORD

PHOTOS SHOW YOU what you looked like. VIDEOS SHOW YOU what you said.

WORDS CAPTURE what it all meant.

Your wedding will be the most documented day of your life. Hundreds of photos. Hours of video. But when you look back in twenty years, you won't just want to see what happened.

You'll want to remember what it felt like. What your mother whispered when she hugged you. What your best friend said at the bar after the speeches. The look on your partner's face during the vows, the one you missed because you were too busy trying not to cry.

That's what a wedding journalist captures. The words. The watching. The moments that live in the people who loved you enough to be there.

The Love Dispatch is wedding journalism: for love stories that deserve to last.

THIS IS HSING, REPORTING LIVE FROM your wedding.

(Pronounced "sing" like "sing a song." Yes, I've made my peace with the puns.)

I spent years in Denver newsrooms finding the lede buried in any story. I've written about everything from murder trials to B2B software. But I believe this is what I was always supposed to write about: two people deciding to build a life together, and the circle of people who love them, showing up to bear witness.

I'm also a 2026 bride, which is how this whole thing started. I was deep in wedding planning when it hit me: I'll never know what it's like to witness us. I'll never overhear the conversations, see the faces, catch the small moments that everyone else will carry home with them.

I wanted a way to get that back. So I built one.

My OFFERINGS

01. wedding day coverage

I show up on your wedding day with a notebook and a voice recorder. No camera in your face, no lights, no staging. Just a writer, paying attention. I watch your ceremony. I wander your reception. I talk to the people who love you and catch the moments that slip between the frames. By the end of the night, I'll have gathered the raw material for something you'll keep forever: a printed magazine that tells the story of your wedding through the eyes of everyone who was there to witness it.

02. before & after the big day

Not every love story needs wedding day coverage to be worth telling. Maybe you're eloping and want your "how we met" written beautifully for your wedding website. Perhaps you've already gotten married and wish you'd had something like this. I have packages for every couple who wants to preserve their story in words, whether the big day is still ahead or already behind you. We sit down, I ask the questions that matter, and I turn your answers into something you can hold onto.

LOVE notes

“It was exciting to share a professionally written piece about our love with our guests, giving them deeper context and connection to our story.”

Even beyond the wedding day, it’ll be a lasting keepsake that captures our relationship in words, not just images.

Brandi & Clydell

“We loved our initial interview with The Love Dispatch. Hsing was very professional and laid back at the same time, creating a space for us to easily share our story with her.

Great experience, would recommend for anyone wanting a personalized keepsake.
